The wonderful reception we received at the Bolholt Hotel in 2013 is one which we all remember. It is for this reason that we return in 2015. All events will take place in the Summerfield Suite which remains ideal for presentations and band performances.

NABBC National Convention Report - 2014

The highly successful 2014 NABBC Convention, held at the Holiday Inn, Gloucester, on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th March, provided an extensive programme of events whilst also offering time to further develop the Association’s and personal networks. It was a wonderful time to renew old friendships, meet new members and share good practice.

Conducting for teachers of Wider Opportunities & Youth Bands

There are many websites and books which indicate the various conducting patterns indicated by time signatures. These patterns should be practiced, preferably in front of a mirror and in time with prepared recordings. Such preparation is always necessary, as band rehearsal is never the place to practice your conducting.

NABBC Master Class & Conducting Workshops

As conductors, demands on our time from those within our bands is often extensive. We also realize that the band’s outcomes are only as good as the commitment from the entire band.
