NABBC Master Classes for Brass Instrumentalists & Musical Directors
Directed by inspirational MD Richard Evans and supported by Murray Greig (brass band enthusiast and lead trumpet for Opera North), Mike Kilroy (adjudicator and euphonium specialist) and Mareika Gray (MD of the Milnrow Band), the corps of musicians for this event will be Grand Shield Winners 2013, The Milnrow Brass Band.
Registration is at 9.30am and the morning sessions will provide unique sectional rehearsals for brass instrumentalists, and for both new and established musical directors. The afternoon sessions will allow MDs to rehearse a massed band composed of The Milnrow Band and those attending the morning sectional rehearsals. The programme will also include exciting new items from our most successful composer Paul Lovatt-Cooper.
The total cost is £25 for non-members but free for existing NABBC members. (£20 per person if 8 or more instrumentalists come from the same band).
‘This is a unique opportunity to rehearse and perform with Grand Shield winners, The Milnrow Band, have sectional rehearsals with technical specialists, be directed by our most respected MD Richard Evans and, play the music of Paul a-Cooper. All for £25! Such an opportunity should not be missed’.
